Always place the heavy boxes on the bottom and light and fragile items on top. Use newspaper to wrapped breakable items like glass and china, it serves a shock absorber if accidentally fall during transport. Most importantly, make sure that you use a heavy duty kind of box.
If you have decided to use the service of a moving company, make sure you have notified them at least two weeks prior your move. There are many moving companies who can offer you cheap services and discounts, so it is better if you could get at least three quotes before you pick the right one. Before doing the transport, let the company know all the necessary information like the amount of furnishings you’re going to move; the exact time you want the boxes to arrive; clear directions of your new home; the items which won’t go through the front door and the place where the moving boxes will be placed.
